cctv drain survey
A CCTV drain survey allows us to inspect the entire drainage system quickly using a small, specialist camera and monitor that produces high-definition video footage and a report. This state of the art equipment provides a detailed picture of the pipework format, location and condition. Drain blockages, damaged drain pipes and rodents can be easily located for the appropriate work to be carried out swiftly. CCTV drainage surveys can be completed for more straightforward residential homes as well as complex commercial systems for businesses such as shops, pubs and restaurants.
Why is it needed?
To identify the cause of drainage issues - this includes surface flooding, unpleasant smells, slow water drainage, ongoing damp problems, subsidence and rat infestations
For property purchases - to produce a Homebuyers CCTV Drain Survey that will help to avoid any costly repairs down the line
For building work - to produce a Pre-build Drain Survey for extensions so that you are aware of the location and condition of pipework below ground level
How much will it cost?
From £140 plus VAT for a basic inspection
From £250 plus VAT for a full CCTV drainage survey, including a detailed written report and video footage
drain jetting
A more effective alternative to traditional drain rodding, high-pressure water drain jetting is the quickest method to clear blocked drains, toilets, plug holes and sewers. Our drainage experts are trained to use industrial drain jet equipment, tailoring the nozzles and pressure according to the pipework to effectively precision ‘cut’ the blockage away quickly. Due to the force involved, the jet will ensure the blockage is completely eliminated rather than simply pushing debris downstream.
Why is it needed?
To effectively clear a blockage - this includes product buildup, debris, non-degradable products and tree roots
How much will it cost?
Pricing is dependent upon the type and location of the blockage. Please contact us for a free, no obligation quote.
drain relining
When suitable, drain relining - also known as no dig drain repair - is a quick and cost-effective process that involves skilled professionals inserting a flexible lining tube into pipework that is then heated to mould to the walls of the existing pipe without excavation. A CCTV survey is required prior to the works, and relining is limited to 4, 6 and 9 inch drainage pipes, though these are standard for domestic and commercial properties across London.
Why is it needed?
To combat minor drain damage - small cracks, pipe misplacement or minor wear can be rectified with patch liner, which is much more cost effective than a full scale repair
To improve drain longevity - relining can add an additional 40 - 50 years to your drainage system life expectancy
To prevent tree root damage - this is particularly helpful if tree roots have caused blockages already
How much will it cost?
Pricing is dependent upon the on the extent of the damage, the time it takes and the amount of drain repair sleeve required. Please contact us for a free, no obligation quote.
drain repair
Issues such as frequent sewage blocking, leaks or damp in the property and foundation cracks indicate there might be more major, structural drain problems. If this is confirmed via a CCTV drainage survey, we can carry out more extensive drain repairs than relining. At LC Drainage, we are experts in drain repair services, covering both commercial and domestic settings.
Why is it needed?
To replace corroded pipes - this is common in older properties as pipework can deteriorate over the years
To replace collapsed pipes - whether it’s age related or due to other factors, we can excavate to replace any length of pipework
To repair pipework with cracks or holes - this is only if relining is not suitable
